Terms and Conditions of Use

Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions of Use apply to rushhockey.ca, RUSH Hockey registrations, events, tournaments, showcases, mentorship opportunities, communications, payment processes, scheduling tools and related services. By using the website, submitting a registration, attending an event, registering a player or team, scheduling a call, submitting a mentorship inquiry, subscribing to communications or otherwise interacting with RUSH Hockey, you agree to these Terms.

Legal Entities

For Canadian operations, the applicable entity is RUSH Hockey Inc. For United States operations, the applicable entity is Rush World Sports. In these Terms, “RUSH Hockey,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to RUSH Hockey Inc., Rush World Sports and their directors, officers, employees, contractors, representatives, event staff, coaches, affiliates, partners and service providers.

Eligibility and Registration Authority

Registrations are intended to be completed by parents, legal guardians, coaches, managers or authorized team representatives. If you register a player, team or participant, you confirm that all information submitted is accurate and that you have the authority to provide required consents, waivers and permissions.

Event Registration

Registration does not guarantee participation until accepted by RUSH Hockey and any required payment, waiver, consent or documentation has been completed. RUSH Hockey may refuse, cancel or revoke a registration where information is incomplete, inaccurate, unpaid, unauthorized, unsafe, inconsistent with event requirements or otherwise contrary to these Terms.

Payments and Invoicing

Payments may be made by Stripe, e‑transfer or invoice‑based payment. Invoices may be issued to teams, coaches, managers, parents or guardians. Payment deadlines and amounts will be communicated during registration or invoicing. RUSH Hockey may withhold registration confirmation, participation or event access if payment is not received.

Refunds, Disputes and Credits

All registrations, deposits and payments are non‑refundable unless RUSH Hockey determines otherwise on a case‑by‑case basis. Payment disputes, refund requests or credit requests may be reviewed by RUSH Hockey at its sole discretion. Any credit offered is discretionary, may be subject to conditions and does not create an obligation to offer credits in future circumstances.

Event Changes, Rescheduling and Cancellation

RUSH Hockey reserves the right to modify, reschedule, relocate, postpone or cancel an event, including because of weather, facility issues, safety concerns, operational needs, insufficient registration, public health issues, acts of God or circumstances beyond RUSH Hockey’s control. If an event is rescheduled, no refund will be provided. If a participant cannot attend the rescheduled date, RUSH Hockey may consider a credit on a case‑by‑case basis. If an act of God, such as a tornado, severe weather event or other uncontrollable event, cancels or interrupts an event, no refund will be provided, although RUSH Hockey will make reasonable efforts to reschedule when practical.

Waiver and Assumption of Risk

Hockey and related athletic activities involve inherent risks, including injury, illness, physical contact, travel risks, facility risks, equipment failure and other risks that may be known or unknown. Participants, parents, guardians, coaches and managers are required to acknowledge the applicable waiver during registration. Completion of the registration process constitutes acceptance of the applicable waiver terms. For individual‑entry events, the waiver must be acknowledged by the parent or guardian, or by the participant if over the age of 18. For team‑entry events, the waiver must be acknowledged by the coach, manager or authorized team representative completing the registration.

Code of Conduct

All players, parents, guardians, coaches, managers, team representatives, spectators and guests must follow the RUSH Hockey Code of Conduct. RUSH Hockey may remove individuals or teams from an event for conduct concerns, safety issues, harassment, bullying, vandalism, abuse of officials, abuse of staff, failure to follow facility rules or conduct that does not reflect RUSH Hockey’s expectations for respect and fair play.

Health and Safety

Registrants must provide accurate health, medical and emergency contact information when required. RUSH Hockey may use this information to support event safety, emergency response, risk management and event administration. Participants are responsible for arriving fit to participate and following all applicable event, facility, team, safety, sanctioning and hockey rules.

Media and Publicity

RUSH Hockey may capture, use, edit, publish and share photographs, videos, livestreams, game footage, testimonials, player profiles and other event media for event operations, player showcases, website content, social media, newsletters, marketing and promotional purposes, subject to the registration consent, waiver or media consent language used at the time of registration.

Scouts, Schools and Recruitment

RUSH Hockey may share limited player information with college coaches, scouts, schools, recruiters and approved hockey development personnel when relevant to player evaluation, recruitment, educational opportunities or advancement. This may include player name, team, position, age or birth year, school or GPA information when voluntarily provided or requested for a specific recruitment, scholarship, educational or showcase purpose, event participation information, contact information when appropriate, and relevant media or performance information.
